Codes and Job Groups
You
will be working with your consultant to identify and/or review appropriate job
groupings. In the meantime, these are the EEO Codes used by the Department
of Labor and some examples of the types of Job Groups that might be identified
as appropriate for your company.

and Managers (Supervisors; Managers; Directors; Vice
Presidents; Senior Staff)

Professionals
(Administrative - sometimes, Senior Administrative and Administrative;
Technical - sometimes, Senior Technical and Technical - sometimes, Software
Engineers and Hardware Engineers)

Sales
(Outside Sales - must close sales. This is not to be used for Inside
Sales people who take orders and/or provide customer service unless they
specifically are individual responsible for negotiating and closing sales
agreements)

(Nonexempt technical - sometimes, Senior Technicians and Technicians -
